Mega Millions: 

·         Mega Millions is the USA's biggest jackpot game, holding the record for the largest jackpot in North American history ($656 million).

·         Mega Millions is played in 45 jurisdictions: 43 States plus the District of Columbia & the US Virgin Islands.

·         If you win the jackpot, you are offered two payout options: Annuity Option, and Cash Option. The Annuity option provides 26 annual payments - for every $1,000,000 in the jackpot, you will receive approximately $38,500 per year before taxes. With the Cash option, you receive a one-time lump-sum payment that is equal to all the cash in the Mega Millions jackpot prize pool.

·         Mega Millions is drawn at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time Tuesdays and Fridays, including holidays.

Euro Millions:

·         The Euro Millions lottery is one of the largest lotteries in the world, with the highest jackpot ever won being recorded at a staggering €190 million in August, 2012.

·         Nine participating countries pool all their resources into the Euro Millions lottery: Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

·         The jackpot prize in Euro Millions is paid to the winner tax-free (except in Switzerland), and is always paid to winners as a single lump sum. The odds of winning a Euro Millions jackpot (1 in 116,531,800) compare very favourably with the odds of winning a Powerball jackpot (1 in 195,249,054) or a Mega Millions jackpot (1 in 175,711,536).

·         Draws take place at 8:45pm every Tuesday and Friday in Paris, France.

US Powerball & Power Play:

·         Powerball is an American lottery game sold by 45 lotteries as a shared jackpot game, with a minimum advertised jackpot of $40 million.

·         In May 2013, the largest jackpot in the game's history (and the largest prize ever on one ticket) was won. $590,500,000 - which was approximately $370,800,000 as a cash option.

·         Powerball draws are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59pm Eastern Time.

EuroJackpot:

·         EuroJackpot is a pan-European lottery game that is similar in structure to the Euro Millions game

·         April 2013 saw the game's highest recorded jackpot being won by a player from Germany - €46,079,338.

·         The EuroJackpot draw takes place every Friday at 9pm, Eastern Time.

La Primitiva:

·         La Primitiva ("the primitive one" is one of Spain's oldest and most popular lotteries, offering attractive prizes and impressive winning odds.

·         While the jackpot's advertised minimum is €3 million, it will keep on rolling over until a winner takes the top prize. August 2013 saw this lottery finish a marathon rollover run (40+), with a top prize jackpot of €66.6 million.

·         La Primitiva offers six prize divisions in their bi-weekly draws (every Thursday and Saturday)

SuperEnaLotto:

·         SuperEnaLotto is a lottery that has been played in Italy since 1997. The jackpots have the ability to experience exponential growth because there is no cap on them and no roll-down of jackpots.

·         The largest jackpot to date was worth a staggering €177,800,000. This was won by one ticket holder in October 2010.

·         Despite the jackpots being some of the largest in the world, the odds of winning are one of the worst in the world - 1 in 622,614,630

·         SuperEnaLotto draws take place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 8pm local time.

SuperEna Max:

· SuperEna Max is a fresh new lottery for the real enthusiast who is keen to be in line to win even bigger jackpot prizes.

· The numbers are based on the popular Italian lottery, SuperEnaLotto.

·         SuperEna Max is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 8pm local time.

Super Lotto Plus:

·         The California Super Lotto was founded in November 1984 and became the Super Lotto Plus in 2000.

·         Super Lotto Plus has become known both locally and internationally for its impressive jackpot prizes, which include a $193 million windfall in 2002, and another huge prize of $72 million in 2007.

·         Draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday.


El Gordo:

·         The Spanish Christmas Lottery is a national lottery that has been organized every year since 1812 by a branch of the Spanish Public Administration.

·         In terms of total prize payout, the Spanish Christmas Lottery is widely considered to be the biggest lottery worldwide. It has been calculated that, in 2012, if all the tickets were sold then the total value of prize payouts would be worth €2.52 billion.

·         The total amount of all prizes in the first category, known as El Gordo ("the big one"), is €720 million.

·         It is a common misconception that the term "El Gordo" makes reference to the Spanish Christmas lottery, or IS the actual name of the lottery; however, the real meaning of El Gordo is simply "the first prize" IN the lottery.

·         The draw for El Gordo will take place on Sunday, 22 December 2013.


UK Lottery:

·         The UK National Lottery is a state-franchised lottery operating in the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man. It is operated by the Camelot Group, and regulated by the National Lottery Commission.

·         The highest recorded jackpot of the UK National Lottery has been an eye-watering £161,653,000. The odds of hitting the jackpot, however, stands at 1 in 13,983,816.

·         The UK Lottery comprises of six games: Lotto, Lotto Hotpicks, Thunderball, Lotto Plus 5, EuroMillions, as well as Scratchcards and online Instant Wins. All prizes from the games are paid as a lump sum and are tax-free.

·         Draws are conducted every Wednesday and Saturday.


OZ Powerball:

·         The OZ Powerball game shares the same DNA of the highly-successful US Powerball game.

·         A Powerpik is a great way to play Powerball. It guarantees the Powerball by giving you 20 Powerball numbers in a single game. When a Powerpik ticket wins, it usually wins multiple prizes. The odds of winning the OZ Powerball jackpot is 1 in 76,767,600.

·         Oz Powerball has bigger jackpots more often, and is drawn every Thursday night.


France Loto:

·         The French have been operating lotteries since 1539, with the jackpots only improving with age.

·         Currently, the France Loto has one of the best lottery odds and cost/benefit ratio - the odds of winning a prize is 1 in 16. The largest France Loto jackpot win has been €18.2 million.

·         France Loto is estimated to hand out approximately €4.4 billion a year in prizes, both for jackpot and second-tier prize divisions.

·         The France Loto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 8:30pm CET (7:30pm GMT).


OZ Lotto:

·         The OZ Lotto is an Australian lottery which guarantees big jackpot payouts, often to the tune of $50 million or more.

·         It currently holds the record for the largest Australian lotto jackpot prize. Originally guaranteed at $100 million, four winners shared a tier-one winning pool of $111,972,151 during a November 2012 draw. The odds of winning the jackpot is currently 1 in 45,379,620.

·         OZ Lotto draws take place every Tuesday evening.

·         The Loteria Nacional Extra (or Spanish Christmas Lottery) is a national lottery which has been organized every year since 1812, with prizes on offer which invariably rank with the world's highest lottery jackpot prizes.

·         In terms of total prize payout, the Spanish Christmas Lottery is considered the biggest lottery worldwide. It has been calculated that, if all the tickets issued in 2012 were sold, the total prize payout would be worth €2.52 billion.

·         Loteria Nacional Extra draws boast an amazing 33,642 winning combinations, with unbeatable 1:3 winning odds.

·         The draw ceremony is rich in culture and history, with pupils of the San Ildefonso school drawing the numbers and corresponding prizes and singing out the results. As a direct result, the draw can often go on for hours before all prize tiers have been announced.


El Gordo Navidad:

·         By merit, the El Gordo Navidad is one of the biggest and most lucrative lotteries in the world. This lottery, which roughly translated means "the Christmas jackpot", has developed into a Spanish tradition and takes place once a year.

·         It is renowned to have the largest prize fund in the world, which Spanish officials have announced to be a gobsmacking sum of €2,240,000,000 for the 2013 Christmas draw.

·         The odds of winning El Gordo are 1 to 100,000 - which are fairly remarkable odds.


Mega Sena:

·         The Mega Sena lottery is run by one of the largest banks in Latin America, Caixa Econômica Federal, which also manages most of the popular lotteries in Brazil. The majority of the profit generated from these lotteries are channeled directly back into social awareness, most notably sports and education development.

·         It is officially the largest lottery in Brazil, with a top jackpot prize payout of R$145m in December 2009. The chances of winning the biggest prize when placing a minimum bet are 1 in 50,063,860.

·         Mega Sena lottery draws are conducted twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Prizes below R$800 can be claimed at a lottery house, whilst prizes above R$800 must be claimed at the Caixa Econômica Federal bank within 90 days. If the 90 day period expires without claim, the prize money gets transferred to the national treasury and invested in educational programs.
