According to the Chinese culture there are three great blessings in life: Luck, Prosperity and Longevity. Unfortunately we can’t help you live longer but if you are lucky, then you may very well prosper on PlayHugeLottos.com

Chinese culture is rife with methods for increasing all three of the great blessings in a person's life. One of the most common methods is through the strategic use of numbers. In Chinese culture every number has a specific meaning and some are considered fortunate and lucky, whilst others are considered unfortunate. |

Creating Luck Through Numbers
Are you a naturally lucky person or do you believe that you create your own luck in life? In Chinese culture it is believed that we can better exert control over our own destiny with the use of certain numbers, in particular the following numbers are considered very good fortune: 6, 8 and 9.
The numbers 6, 8, and 9 are believed to be lucky numbers because in Chinese their names sound similar to words that have positive meanings.
• The number six (6) – Is considered very good for business and also represents ‘Happiness’
• The number eight (8) – This number means ‘Prosperity’ and ‘Wealth’
• The number nine (9) – Historically associated with the Emperor of China, the number 9 connotes longevity and harmony (and is thus often used at weddings)
Examples Of Using Chinese Lucky Numbers
There are many examples of people willing to go the extra mile for their lucky numbers especially when acquiring telephone numbers and license plate numbers and also, when starting an event.
• In 1994 a Chinese businessman paid 1.7 million USD for a car license plate featuring the single digit “9”
• The Beijing Olympics began on August 8th, 2008 at 8pm, 8 minutes and 8 seconds after 8pm.
• A telephone number featuring mostly the number eight in it was sold for 271,000 USD in Chengdu, China.
Avoid this unlucky number
Just in case you thought we weren’t going to warn you about what number was considered most unlucky in Chinese culture, here it is, the number 4.
The number 4 is considered very unlucky and it has connotations with the word “Death”. In Hong Kong for instance, many buildings do not have a 4th floor (some will even omit all floor numbers containing the number 4 e.g. 14, 24, 34, any number in the 40’s etc).
Another example of excluding the unlucky number 4 is in certain product lines that skip this number. For example, the Canon G series goes from G3 to G5 and Nokia cell phones do not have a series beginning with the number 4.
