The latest of our ever-popular Grand Prix competitions has come to an end. The Etihad Airways Abu-Dhabi Grand Prix, taking place from the 12th to the 14th of November 2010 at the Yas Marina Circuit, is the closing event of the season and one of our esteemed customers will be in attendance.

That customer is Fernando Da Cunha, from Pretoria, South Africa, and he and his wife will be experiencing the excitement first-hand as the world's loudest and arguably, its most exciting sporting spectacle unfolds before him.

Here's a quick look at what lies ahead for our lucky prize winners:

Friday 12th November 2010.

Arrive in Dubai at the International airport and transfer by private car to the 5* Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes and Towers for three nights’ accommodation in a twin/double room with breakfast. After checking in, transfer to Abu Dhabi for the afternoon practice sessions at Yas Island at 1pm and 5pm where you will witness the action from North Grandstand seating. After the practice sessions, transfer back to Dubai for an evening at leisure.

Saturday 13th November 2010.

After breakfast, transfer to Abu Dhabi for a visit to the newly opened Ferrari World including with the world’s fastest roller coaster reaching 240kmh. After the visit, transfer to Yas Island for the final F1 practice session and support racers before F1 Qualifying at 5pm, again from the North Grandstand. After the Qualifying session, transfer back to Dubai for an evening of leisure.

Sunday 14th November 2010.

A morning of shopping at a choice of Dubai’s finest Malls before transferring to Abu Dhabi for the final race of the F1 season. The race starts at 5pm and watch from the North Grandstand as the sun goes down and the floodlights take effect to create an unrivalled atmosphere. At the end of the race, after the presentations for the winners, transfer back to Dubai.

Monday 15th November 2010.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer back to Dubai airport for your flight home.

When contacted by our customer service department, Fernando had the following to say: "We have been planning to go to Dubai for years now and never got round to it, so to be the winner of this competition is absolutely amazing.  We are still finding it hard to believe but what an awesome prize.
